Always a Fangirl, the object of my obsession just changes every couple of years. Be ready for a lot of Spanish football

  • EXCITE
  • Even when he’s pissy and miserable Arbeloa will try to grope you in the match picture
  • I cannot adequately express to you how much I love the Basque sandwich hug with a chewy hobbit center.

  • Sigh. It’s so nice to be able to forget Iker is even there during games. It’s then a happy little surprise every time they actually show him
  • Amore was pretty much glued to Fer every second. And of course got a red. In a friendly. Because he is your Asshole Boyfriend, and he can’t be tamed.

::exhale::

We really needed a game like that. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one holding their breath after our favorite little jinx tweeted he was watching though.

Huzzah! Rather dicey looking Costa Rica-Spain friendly has already provided us with a spectacular solution to Cesc’s hair looking like a female 1970s figure skater!

-Take 1 properly applied (i.e Ramos approved) Headband, add a constant light Rain, and voila! Adorable, circa 2006 baby!Cesc hair!

on eggshells

I’ve always appreciated Cesc’s triple tweeting, but since his transfer it seems to have taken a different turn. Now instead of a single trilingual repeated message it’s Something About Barca in Spanish, identical Thing About Barca in Catalan, then pleasant small talk not-at-all-about-Barca in English. I totally understand why he does it, it just makes me a bit sad.

never were words so true

Gah, he’s just so happy. How could I not be as well?

p.s What on earth did he do to Pep? My guess is hug-tackle

so many FEELINGS

I’m giving myself 1 day to wallow and be sad about Cesc leaving. Pajamas & Cesc Arsenal jersey, watching my dvds of the Arsenal-Barca champions league games, eating ice cream (only because I have no donuts), and generally being a grumpy mess.

After that, though, I’m moving on and being happy for him. When I first came to football and was just all about the Spanish national team I wanted Cesc to go to Barca, and I could never begrudge him his happiness. I’ll still be watching and cheering for him no matter what. All the best!

Mr. Fabregas if you’re nasty

Haha, I’m pretty sure VDB just prefers to call him Sex because it’s fun.

Wish they were re-airing the world cup final in the US as well :-(

::ignoring actual game::

Everyone else has their full name called for substitutions. Announcer at the Camp Nou just said ‘Cesc’ when he came off. Seems a tad too familiar. Who are we kidding, dude’s probably an uncle or cousin.
